Meet Our Pilgrims

Many have asked to know who is going on the pilgrimage. As we prepare for the pilgimage, I thought we could start introducing those of us going on the trip, as well as give you information on our discernment; I hope this helps you know who we are and helps you be able to pray for us after getting to know us better.

We'll follow up on this with posts about each of our pilgrims, letting them give you some information about themselves. For now, here are the names of all the pilgrims.

Patrick Sullivan, Junior
Martin Montalvo, Junior
Brandon Bain, Junior
Michael Blaschke, Senior
Austin Miller, Senior
Thomas Neiers, Junior
Toan Cao, Senior
Nick Tanner, Junior

And our guides:
Mr. Tommy Romano
Fr. Flavio Bravo
Fr. Jeff Johnson

Welcome!

Welcome to our blog for our Vocation Pilgrimage to Rome!

I am Brandon Bain '16, one of the pilgrims going on this amazing journey. The trip is less than three weeks away. Needless to say, we are doing a lot to prepare as the pilgrimage comes closer. We have been blessed with amazing donations these last few weeks.

This blog is where we will continue to update all our friends, families, donors, and all those praying for us on the preparation for the trip and the trip itself once the time comes. When in Rome, we will post pictures and information about our experiences. Feel free to comment any prayer requests you have for while we're there.

We continue to pray for our donors. We are so grateful to everyone who has supported us on this trip. Without you, this literally would not be happening. I consider it an incredible privilege to be able to discern my vocation in Rome. I am honored that in a secular world that laughs at a young man discerning a vocation, I find so many, many people enthusiastically supporting me for this pilgrimage and my discernment overall. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. We will be praying for you leading up to the trip and will especially pray for you while in Rome. Please continue to pray for us, that we might have a safe, fruitful, and spiritual pilgrimage in the heart of our Church, Rome.

May the Lord bless us all and allow us to do His holy will all the days of our lives.
